Throughout the city of Sunrise, different homes have different piping materials. The best way to tell which material your home has is to look wherever the pipes come out of the wall. Leading to the toilet, leading to the water heater, and your main water line coming into the home are all great places to look.
Generally, certain areas in Sunrise have the same pipes. Newer homes, such as Artesia, have PEX piping in them. Highrises such as Tao Sawgrass, One Metropica, and any highrise taller than 3 stories most likely has CPVC. Homes built between 1987 and 1994 most likely have Polybutylene or Copper piping. Springtree areas have a mixture of Copper and Polybutylene. Sunrise Lakes Condominiums are all Copper piping. Areas East of Pine Island Road were built with Cast Iron. Areas West of Pine Island Road were built with PVC piping.
